Is SurveyClaim.Com a scam site?
SurveyClaim.com starts out by making a phone call to you asking you to complete a 10 question phone survey.
SurveyClaim.Com called me from 202-495-7103 caller Id shows it as Washington DC.
SurveyClaim.com states after completing this phone survey you will win a free all inclusive 3 day vacation from SurveyClaim.com that includes a 3 night and 2 days, breakfast lunch and dinner for 2 people. Stop scam alert!
The way it starts is you will hear a person that sounds like she is in a call center. “Please hold for a very important message”. Then you will be transferred to a computer that says this is your captain speaking (etc. etc.) It will ask you to fill out a survey by pressing numbers on your phone to the correct corresponding answer. You will do this for 10 questions to win a free cruise to the Bahamas. Stop Scam Alert! A person from the call center answers again and asks you for your phone number and zip code. After I answered the questions, they said that I could go to surveyclaim.com to get more information about my “boarding pass”. Once you go to the site and input the phone number and zip this is what you will see.
The next screen shows
Then this screen I have taken out my last name and number. Also this screen was big so I put into 2 parts
So here are the 10 questions that you were asked with the answers you have given.
Then you finally get your Scam boarding pass confirmation
.

Just got this call and googled the name…I knew it was a scam, lol…but tried it anyway (: Here is the number that they called from 207-493-2614
I also got the inconsistent data message.
I just got called by surveyclaim.com. It sounded funny, but i finished the survey too see if they were trying to get my credit card information. They didn’t ask for that, but I guess they wanted names and numbers. Here is the number they called me from: Service Message survey 1-207-493-2600. Thanks for letting me know this is really a scam.
smells like cat hoark

Just got the same call, from phone number 207-493-2625. Answered the questions. So sad. You pay your phone bill to communicate with who you wish to, just to have your phone number given out to solicitors whose intent is to not to help, but to hurt. Thanks for providing the scam infomation.
No one has said what the scam IS. Is the boarding pass worthless?
I did NOT get the “inconsistent” message.
Thanks.
From what I have seen and the research I have done all this scam is a phishing scam harvesting your email and any other information you provide them i.e. (house address name phone number etc.) Surveyclaim does provide a portal to some online survey sites but they mask some of the pay to click sites as being online surveys as well. So what this means to you is you could potentially click on something you think is a survey and end up signing up for a credit card or some other program and bottom line getting charged for a service that you really did not want.
I hope this clarifies things a little better. The boarding pass could be used but it will be like a time share sales pitch trying to sell you something. That is only if you pay all the fees first to get onto the ship. This is by no means a free pass.
Well that’s my opinion and my research and my 2 cents, hope this helps.

Just got this call. Thank God for the Internet n this site
Googles name n checked out this site before I went online

They can call till they get tired!!! Ha ha jokes on them!!
Googled name first!!! Bottom line….SCAM!!!!
To whom this is concerned. I just now ( 11A.M. ) recieved this scam call ( at which I had no idea this was a scam at the time, until I got on the Internet. Everything that was said, finished that they would be calling this evening to finish getting set up for this cruise. When I got on the internet, & read the exact words you have typed in, were identical to what was said by them on the phone to me. I have had 3 scams in the last 30 days, ( one of which they took money out of my bank account ) Their name they went by were called MORGAN DREXEN, LAW FIRM, with 200 to 500 employes. I found out at my bank & went home to follow up on it when the bank turned the computer screen around for me to see for myself, & in huge letters, was MORGAN DREXEN< SCAM. I came home & got into the internet, & found info. that said, headquarters are located in GEORIGA, with 200 to 500 employes. If this cruise scam calls this evening, how should I handle it???? We are in our 70,s, living off S.S., in poor health. How can we, the people know who are scammers, to protect ourselves ??. THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME HAVE A WORD IN THIS MATTER< SINCERELY JUDY HOOTS
Judy,
The best information I could tell you would be do not give them any personal information. The only thing they should have at this point is your name and phone number. Do not ever give out personal information over the phone to people you do not know or trust. This should not harm you at all the worst possible thing that should happen is you will get hounded with phone calls and possible letters in your mail. Just use an answering machine or caller id to scan your calls and when the spam mail comes in your email or house just use it to start up the fire or the grill. I hope this helps you and many others who fall into the same trap. They need to be stopped and I run this site to help out in that process.

I have been ignoring this call for months so today I answered there questions to see if I could get removed from the call list no such luck. It was automated.
Another scam…Just got the call, thanks for the info.
I recieved the call today and as you stated everything the same. I new it was a scam but was intrested to see how it played out. I never logged into there web sit after reading this site I didnt wast my time, thank you. On a different note I got a call today as well saying I won 1.5 million in some lotto. The catch is they want you to send the the money for the taxes first before you get there funds. I told them I would be happy to send them 2500.00 if they email a copy of the check I won so I can verfi that the funds are good first, of corce they can’t do that.I got into a shoutting session with this guy and told him there was no way in hell I would send him any money. They sound like they are from a different county hard to understand. He said he was in Las Vegas but called from a blocked number. TOTAL SCAM.
My boyfriend got the call last night, same exact thing. John B.thanks so much for using your time to investigate this.
The number used today was 5084751371 for COMMRKSY. Rememebr, if it sounds too good to be true it ABSOLUTELY IS!

I’m glad I didn’t go to the website or go any farther
They just called me again from Westborough MA
phone # 508 – 475 – 1371
This is 100% a SCAM. Do not give the http://www.surveyclaims.com any info
I just got this call in northern BC, Canada. I was curious too, so after I finished the survey and got an actual person on the line, I interrupted her as she immediately asked for my first and last name. I asked her if they had a website, and she directed me to surveyclaims.com I said “So, what are the details?” and she said that the tickets are transferable and must be used within 18 months. I asked her “Are taxes and fees included?” and she hung up on me! Haha. No caller ID at work, but they’re trying to scam Canada too.
They called me from 000-000-0000 on my cell
I just got the call this afternoon and I did the survey over the phone but when I went to the website I looked at this one first, just to find out it was a scam!! However they didn’t call from the numbers any of you put down… They called me from unknown name 000-000-000. I live in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada.
I got a call from 207-493-2600 a few minutes ago. I knew it was a scam from the minute the call started. Thanks for confirming my suspicion. They called my home phone & only telemarketers call this #. Verizon FiOS has an option to block #’s and that I did.
that would have been a dope cruise tho
I got a call from a 10000000000 yesterday I knew this was a scam coming from a number like that…
got this call just now! ugh. i went through the questions out of curiosity.they called me on my cell on a 000-0000 number. after the questions they transferred me to a person and i asked “what is this? am i getting real cruise tickets or is this a joke?” the person said it was real. he confirmed some info and then abruptly transferred me onto an automated message. PATHETIC. THEY then tell you to go online to confirm some more info but then i got an error message saying my info was “inconsistent” and when you try to contact them the message does not go thru. SCAM
They called me at 5 PM Friday August 12, 2011. David
This really sucks, about a month ago i put my name in a ballet box to when a trip for 2 and thought that when they called it was them. Sadley they said everything on this page, so it was a scam. Thanks for letting people know!!
They just called me! I did the survey but didn’t give my information. I asked the guy if there was somewhere I could go to find more information about the site before giving my personal information and he said sure http://www.surveyclaim.com. I went and told him and said the website isn’t working. He said “What?!” as if it should’ve worked. Then he said “It must be in maintenaince or something.” I said “Um..ok…” Then he said “Have a good night ma’am” and hung up. Thank god I didn’t give them my information. Ugh! I hate that they scam people like that! That is so pointless!
Thank you for websites like this that tell people the truth!

Here we go again I got the call to from (541) 291 2440 from Oregon. I think OR is Oregon.
I was having A really bad week my sisters going threw A separation and my brother tried to OD in the same week talk about stress.
I was telling my husband I really have been wanting to go on A cruise so like me I was thinking like all the others and did the survey and answered the questions.
The guy spoke good English and it was the same exact question you have posted on here.
When I was transferred back to him I said I’ve been screwed by you plp before which I have not been. I asked him what is the the catch am I going to be billed later after I receive the tickets. He said no you really won two free boarding passes all you have to do is buy your alcohol on board so of course he asked my first and last name and phone number and zip….
So here is my question will he be able to pull up any bank info. or hack my computer just by giving that info. has it happened to anyone on here before? and I did not go to the survey site.

This scam is still going on, more than 2 years later! I got the call from 113604609918 from WA, USA.
Same website, questions, everything. I knew it was too good to be true, but just like everyone else, I didn’t see the harm in playing along, just in case.
I just can’t imagine what good they get out of it. I just got a new phone number and I need to find out how to block your number from telemarketers. Anyone know how?
Just got the call, on my work phone, let them try to scam Microsoft. I went thu till I got the operator, and I said this was a business she couldn;t hear me over the load call center, she kept asking is this the best number to reach you at, I said sure, then she asked my zip code which I gave my work, captain said go the the website, right all I need is a virus to my work computer. What a hoax, thanks for posting.
Wow, it looks like the last post was 2/25/11, here it is 5/15/12 and I got the same call. I’ve seen this unfamiliar number on my cell phone before but never answered, today I decided let me pick up. If you’ve ever been on a cruise, there is a bell that sounds off and the announcement comes on, well that is what happened today then it said, “this is your captain….” what I find interesting is they are still asking the same questions. Like most of you, I was bewildered by the various questions yet in the back of my mind saying to myself, they must be trying to sell something and was waiting for the catch. Well a guy picks up and asked for my name, zip code and verified that I could be reached at the number they called me on which was my cell. He then said please hold for (I don’t know what because he said it so fast) then the automation came on again about diabetics. When I entered the number to answer the question it said, “please hold”. For a moment it got to quiet, when I looked at my phone I was disconnected. I left the paper at work with the website given, but it occurred to me so I googled it and found this site.
I have to say after reading the posts I feel a little silly because I don’t normally take surveys and I too thought this can’t be so a free cruise. Well I can kick myself becuase I gave my name and zip code. I have not and do not intend to complete the registration on the site. The number they call me from is 253-753-9137. Thanks John for the orginal post.
Correction, the last post was May 1, 2012. Amazing, they are still at it. How can we as a people band together to shut this thing down? This site is good, but we all happen upon it after the fact.
